Situation: Colorado’s
fourth largest city is reinventing itself, creating its first
downtown, Belmar and a variety of adjoining districts, including the
soon-to-be-redeveloped Denver Federal Center.
Task: PEAK
PR assisted the Alameda Gateway Community Assocation (AGCA),
the Alameda
Corridor Business Improvement District and various departments of the City
in the evolution of the corridor.
Action: We
began working with the team in 2000 and have assisted by developing
the Alameda Corridor web site, membership information packet,
community newspaper and in facilitating its board of directors
and its communication with a variety of other organizations.
Results: We
have achieved a variety of results for Alameda Gateway, as well
as the City of Lakewood and other companion organizations. About
20,000 community newspapers are distributed quarterly and the organization
is viewed as one of the key civic groups in the state’s fourth
largest city.
